GR32 Radar Speed Display
RADAR SPEED DISPLAYS - OVERVIEW

DCD Systems offers a range of Radar Speed Displays to reduce speeds in your local blackspots. All our signs feature robust and secure mounting hardware, simple setup and zero maintenance or calibration.

Radar speed displays are ideally suited to a variety of situations where vehicles and pedestrians interact. The signs give motorists individual feedback of their speed and create a heightened sense of awareness needed around school zones, road work sites and shared zones.

For those with budgeting problems, all our equipment can also be rented instead of purchased outright.

GR32/42 Classic

GR32The GR32 is our most popular sign. It is a classic Radar Speed Display that gives drivers clear feedback of their speed in 30cm high LED digits. The GR32 is lightweight - weighing less than 10kgs - and portable which satisfies OH&S regulations and ensures easier deployment for staff.

For situations where speeds exceed 60 km/h we recommend using the larger GR42, which features 44cm high LED digits and a larger physical footprint.

The GR32/42 Classics can both be ordered with full colour LEDs so you can set your sign to display speeds in different colours for different speed thresholds. Data recording and Bluetooth connectivity means you can communicate wirelessly with your sign and record vehicle speeds to evaluate the effectiveness of your speed reduction campaign.

Flash

Speedpacer FlashThe Flash is a basic flashing beacon that alerts drivers they are entering a school zone, road work zone or other high pedestrian area, similar to the RTA's School Zone Flashing Lights. The radar - located in the sign - spots vehicles and triggers a yellow flashing beacon which flashes depending on the speed of the driver.

The Flash is a cost-effective way to draw attention to your road safety black spot. The sign measures 115 x 85cm and when coupled with a custom designed front panel, demands attention from road users.

 

Speedpacer

Speedpacer 2368The Speedpacer is a variable message sign (VMS) that gives drivers individual feedback depending on the speed they are driving. By setting different speed thresholds, the Speedpacer can display certain text messages that either reward the driver - if they comply with the speed limit - or inform them to slow down. The Speedpacer can also be set to show motorists their speed as well as a message.

The Speedpacer is a physically imposing sign measuring 115 x 85cm and arrests attention when used with a custom front panel.

Like the GR32/42 Classics, the Speedpacer can be ordered with full colour LEDs so you can set your sign to display speeds and messages in different colours.
